INDO-MIM IPO Listing: Shares Debut at 45% Premium, Investors Earn Up to ₹218 Per Share on Listing Day

Engineering components manufacturer Indo-MIM Limited delivered a blockbuster stock market debut on Thursday, rewarding IPO investors with impressive listing gains. The company's shares listed at a premium of nearly 45% over the issue price, outperforming market expectations and reflecting strong investor confidence.

 

Following the stellar debut, the stock extended its rally during early trade, making it one of the biggest IPO listings of the year.

INDO-MIM IPO Listing Price

 

Indo-MIM shares made a strong debut on both Indian stock exchanges:

 

BSE Listing Price: ₹703 per share

NSE Listing Price: ₹700 per share

IPO Issue Price: ₹485 per share

 

This translates into:

 

₹218 listing gain (44.95%) on BSE

₹215 listing gain (44.33%) on NSE

 

Shortly after listing, the stock surged further to an intraday high of ₹725.15 on the BSE. Around 10:45 AM, Indo-MIM shares were trading near ₹705, remaining above their listing price.

 

IPO Investors Receive Strong Listing Gains

 

Investors who received allotment in the IPO enjoyed substantial returns on listing day.

 

Issue Price: ₹485

BSE Listing Price: ₹703

Profit Per Share: ₹218

 

The listing delivered significantly higher gains than many market participants had anticipated.

 

IPO Received Massive Investor Response

 

The Indo-MIM IPO witnessed exceptional demand during the subscription period held between July 23 and July 27.

IPO subscribed 72.34 times

Fully subscribed on the very first day

IPO size: ₹3,812.11 crore

Price band: ₹461–₹485 per share

 

The overwhelming response from retail, institutional, and other investor categories reflected strong confidence in the company's long-term growth prospects.

 

Listing Beats Grey Market Expectations

 

Before listing, the Grey Market Premium (GMP) had indicated an expected listing gain of around 38%.

 

However, the actual market debut exceeded those expectations, with the stock listing at nearly 45% premium, making it one of the strongest IPO listings in recent months.

 

The company had also raised ₹1,141 crore from anchor investors before the public issue opened.

 

How Will Indo-MIM Use IPO Proceeds?

 

According to the company's IPO documents:

 

₹400 crore will be used to repay or prepay existing borrowings.

The remaining proceeds will be utilized for general corporate purposes, including business expansion and operational requirements.

 

Reducing debt is expected to strengthen the company's balance sheet and improve future financial flexibility.
