DSEU: Now applications for diploma and digital and design courses till July 14, the university is offering 40 courses

Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU) has extended the date of application for a Diploma and BA/BSc in Digital Media and Design. Students interested in admission will now be able to apply till July 14. Earlier the last date to apply was July 11. At the same time, the last date to apply for 15 undergraduate courses is August 15.

 

Kaushal University has offered more than 40 programs in diplomas and Degree for the academic year 2022-23. A special scheme for women will start in the university this year. University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Niharika Vohra on her plans for this academic year said that we have had an enriching experience with the first batch of students at DSEU. We look forward to welcoming the second batch. We have roped in over 60 industry partners to support students' hands-on knowledge, internship and placement opportunities, and create a barrier-free environment for students to learn.

 

 

He said that our industry partnership is facilitating the courses being taught at DSEU. It is also helping students to improve their learning experience and providing them with the means to access resources. Giving an example, he said that our data analytics program has been designed to teach the students the latest technologies.

He said that when some students raised concerns about not having laptops to access this software, the university provided more than 15 students in the data analytics program with used laptops to aid learning. He said that the university has a dedicated team to assist the students in getting fee-waiver and scholarships.

 

University registrar Ashwini Kansal said that the university considers the right of all deserving candidates to be entitled to pursue job-oriented degrees. We at DSEU are constantly working toward providing more opportunities to the students coming from all sections of society. There are many income-based scholarships, over 10 institutional scholarships as well as external scholarships that students can take advantage of.

 

He said that the university has initiated over 300 institutional scholarships and over 110 external scholarships, some of which are supported by our industry partners. For about 67 students from Diploma courses, DSEU is supporting students to get Post Matric Merit Scholarship through the e-District Portal of Welfare Department, Government of Delhi.
