Ravindra Mahajani : Veteran actor of Marathi cinema Ravindra Mahajani dies, dead body found in Pune flat

Veteran actor of Marathi cinema Ravindra Mahajani, who was seen in the role of a policeman in the film Saat Hindustani with Amitabh Bachchan, has passed away. Ravindra Mahajani was called Vinod Khanna of Marathi cinema. He breathed his last at the age of 77. The actor's body was found at his residence in Talegaon-Dabhade, Pune. Ravindra Mahajani was living in Talegaon Dabhade for the last few days. The Marathi film industry is expressing grief over the actor's demise.

 

Died two-three days ago

Please tell that Ravindra Mahajani was living in a rented flat in Ambi village of Pune. He was found dead in this flat. He often used to come to stay in this flat. According to reports, neighbors informed the police after a foul smell emanated from their flat on Friday. After this, the police reached the spot. When the police broke open the door of the flat, they saw that Ravindra was lying dead. Police estimate that Ravindra would have died two to three days ago. The family members of Mahajani have been informed about his death.

Ravindra Mahajani has predominantly worked in Marathi, Hindi, and Gujarati films. In 1975, he made his debut in the film industry with the Marathi film 'Jhunj' directed by V. Shantaram. He made 'Lakshmi' (1978), 'Duniya Curry Salaam' (1979), 'Gukalhat Gukal' (1981), 'Bombay Cha Faujdar' (1985) very popular. Ravindra Mahajani has also worked as a director and producer. He worked as a director in the film 'Satte Pish Kini' released in the year 1997. Along with this, he also produced this film.
