Twitter owner Elon Musk announced an 'apology' for banned Twitter accounts after the vote. The news agency AFP has given this information. Musk asked users to vote on whether Twitter should offer a general amnesty for suspended accounts. He adopted the same method to handle the case of Donald Trump.

 

Musk polled on 23 November

Tell me, Elon Musk tweeted a poll on 23 November. In it, he asked, 'Should Twitter offer a general amnesty to suspended accounts, provided they haven't broken the law or engaged in serious spam?' People actively participated in this poll.

Musk announced after the poll

As per the poll result, 72.4 percent of users clicked 'Yes' while 27.6 percent of users clicked 'No'. 31 lakh 62 thousand 112 people took part in the poll. The poll was liked by 176.9K while retweeted by 67.8K people. More than 53 thousand people have replied to the poll. After the poll, Musk tweeted that the offer of apology will be started next week.

 

Trump's account ruckus after 22 months

Former US President Donald Trump's account was restored after 22 months. Musk announced this on 20 November. He also put a poll to restore Trump's account, in which 51.8 percent of users voted in favor of restoring the account. At the same time, 48.2 percent of users were not in favor of restoring the account. The poll was viewed by over 135 million people.
