India said at the United Nations that efforts to ban its perpetrators and conspirators in the past years after the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack were hampered by political reasons. This has allowed those responsible for this terrorist attack to roam freely and continue with cross-border attacks against India.

Increased threat to peace and security due to terrorism

India's Permanent Representative and Ambassador to the United Nations Ruchira Kamboj said on Thursday that terrorist organizations in Asia and Africa, especially those linked to terrorist organizations IS and Al Qaeda, continue to target civilians and security forces. Due to terrorism, the threat to international peace and security is increasing day by day.

10 terrorists were massacred in Mumbai for four days

Kamboj, chairing the Committee 1267/1373/1540 of the Security Council, said in the joint talks that we should not forget that in November 2008, ten terrorists who came by sea from Pakistan entered Mumbai and massacred the city for four days. Took the lives of 166 people. There were 26 foreign nationals in it.

Our efforts were blocked for political reasons

"Our efforts to ban the perpetrators and facilitators of these terrorist attacks have been blocked in the past for political reasons," he said. They openly carried out cross-border attacks against my country while working on their designs.

UNSC commends India on the leadership of the Anti-Terrorism Committee

Members of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) have lauded India's leadership of the Counter-Terrorism Committee (CTC) and the successful hosting of its special meeting in the country last month. The UNSC described it as a major event, in which the forward-looking Delhi Declaration was adopted.
