Dr. Neetu Chauhan, Head of Blood Transfusion Department of SN College said that in these five cases, the age of four is 25 to 35 years and are also physically healthy. Two of these have also received the first dose of the vaccine. The condition of three of them remained normal. One needed oxygen and one got a severe weakness in the body with high fever and cough.
1209 inquiry conducted
Antibodies were tested in 1209 people who were infected and vaccinated at SN Medical College. In this, 25 thousand units/ml (after 100 times dilute) antibodies were found in 704 infected and vaccinated.
In the test of 310 people infected, 700 to 800 units/ml antibodies were found. Antibodies were found less in only 195 people who were vaccinated, of which only 50 to 2000 units/ml. In the remaining 2050, some people did not get vaccinated and did not even get tested for Covid, out of which antibodies were found in 40 percent of people.
Frequent infections even with low virus load
Dr. Ankur Goyal, Head of the Department of Microbiology, SN Medical College, said that due to the low load of the virus in the body, enough antibodies are not made, due to which it can be infected two-three times. But it is a matter of relief that the condition of the patient is not very serious.
Case one: Fever-cough, sore throat all three times
Dr. Kapil Kumar of SN's Radio Diagnostic Department said that on September 2 last year, he became positive. The second time became positive again on October 3. He had fever, cough, sore throat for the first two times, joined duty for the third time, and got infected again on October 27. In the third time, the condition was worse than before, but there was no chance of hospitalization.
Case two: critical condition after getting infected for the third time
Dharmendra Singh, a resident of Maithan and technician in SN, said that in April 2020, he was infected twice in 23 days. At that time there was a cold, cough, fever. Was infected for the third time this year on March 16, this time the condition became critical, and had to be on oxygen.
