Explosion outside Afghan Foreign Ministry: China-Taliban meeting was going on inside, 20 people died – Taliban leader silent

There was a blast on Wednesday outside the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan. There is news of 20 people being killed in this. However, the Taliban, which is ruling Afghanistan, has not said anything about those who died in the blast. A meeting was going on between the Taliban and Chinese officials at the time of the blast. According to the news agency AFP, it was a suicide attack.

 

Khalid Zadran, the spokesman for the Kabul Security Department, gave information about the blast but did not say how many people were killed.

Chinese hotel was attacked on 12 December

On December 12, a restaurant and guest house known as Chini Hotel was attacked. A total of three attackers targeted the hotel. All three were killed. Two foreign nationals were injured in the incident. Media reports claimed that several Chinese nationals were present in the hotel at the time of the attack. Some footage also surfaced. In this, the fire was visible in a part of the hotel.

 

There was a blast at the military airport on New Year

Earlier on January 1, there was a blast at a military airport in Kabul. 8 people were injured in this. On December 29 also, there was a blast in the Talukan province of Afghanistan, in which 4 people were injured.

 

According to reports, the blast took place when a bomb kept under the desk of the staff of a government office exploded. On December 26, a police officer was killed in a blast in Badshahkhan province.

 

The Indian embassy has also been on target

The Indian Embassy in Afghanistan has also been a target. In August 2013, three suicide bombers who attacked the embassy in Jalalabad were killed. Some soldiers of the Afghan army were also killed in this. During that time, Indian Ambassador to Afghanistan Amar Sinha met the relatives of those killed and the injured and promised security.

 

Not only this, but the expenses for all the medical needs of the injured were also borne by the Indian Embassy. In 2010, six Indians were killed in attacks on two guest houses in Kabul. In July 2008, the Brigadier and two ITBP personnel were killed in a car bomb blast.
