Famous comedian Kapil Sharma's Caps Cafe in Surrey, Canada, was once again fired upon on Thursday. According to the Surrey Police, the cafe was fired upon at 4:40 am. During this, even the glass panes of the cafe's windows were broken. However, the staff present in the cafe had a narrow escape.
It is worth mentioning that earlier, on July 10, the same cafe was fired upon, and then the responsibility for it was taken by Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) terrorist Harjeet Singh Ladi. This time, the responsibility for the firing has been taken by gangster Goldie Dhillon, associated with gangster Lawrence Bishnoi's gang.
The video of this incident is also being circulated on the internet. In the video, Dhillon's henchmen are seen sitting in a car and firing bullets at the cafe. Conservative Party's local MLA Eleanor Satuko has strongly condemned the firing that took place on Thursday.
She has also expressed concern over the increasing criminal incidents in the area and said that this has created an atmosphere of fear among the local people. The police are investigating this incident. So far, no arrest has been made by the police in this case.
This is not the first case when firing has been done at the houses or cafes of Indian artists abroad. Earlier last year, a firing took place outside the house of singer AP Dhillon in Vancouver. Apart from firing outside the house of singer Gippy Grewal in the year 2023, bullets have been fired outside the houses of many other artists as well.
