Gurmeet Ram Rahim: The special CBI court has convicted Gurmeet Ram Rahim in the murder of former Dera Sacha Sauda manager Ranjit Singh. The court has convicted the main accused Dera Sacha Sauda chief Ram Rahim Singh in this case. Along with Ram Rahim, the accused Krishan Lal, Avtar, Jasbir, and Sabdil have also been convicted. Special CBI Judge Dr. Sushil Kumar Garg gave his verdict on Friday morning. Earlier, the then Special Judge Jagdeep Singh had given the verdict in the Sadhvi harrasment abuse and journalist Ram Chandra Chhatrapati murder case against Ram Rahim. Ram Rahim is serving 20 years in the Sadhvi harrasment abuse case and life imprisonment in the Chhatrapati murder case in Sunaria Jail Rohtak. Gurmeet Ram Rahim, Jasbir Singh, Avtar Singh, Sabdil, and Krishan Lal are guilty in the Ranjit Singh murder case. One of the accused, Indrasen, died on 8 October 2020.
