Gautam Adani: Lost 69 thousand crore rupees in three days, Asia's second-richest person is no more

Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani has now been stripped of the crown of Asia's second-richest person. He has been replaced by Chinese businessman Zhong Shanshan (net worth - $ 69.3 billion). Shares of all the six listed companies of the Adani Group fell sharply today. This has reduced Adani's net worth by $3.91 billion. According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Adani now owns a net worth of $67.6 billion. He is now the 15th richest person in the world. In the last three days only, his total assets have declined by $ 9.4 billion, or about Rs 69263 crore. At the same time, so far this year, his net worth has increased by $ 33.8 billion.

Hence the decline in Adani's assets

Recently it was claimed in media reports that NSDL has frozen the accounts of three foreign funds. He has shares worth Rs 43,500 crore in four Adani Group companies. But the Adani group later denied the news and said it was false. Therefore, the shares of all the six listed companies of the Adani Group are seeing a decline today. Adani Total Gas and Adani Transmission fell five percent each, Adani Power 6.65 percent, Adani Ports 7.17 percent, Adani Green Energy 3.10 percent, and Adani Enterprises 5.77 percent.

Mukesh Ambani in 12th position

Mukesh Ambani, the owner of Reliance Industries (RIL), is still the richest person in Asia. This year his wealth has increased by $ 7.82 billion. He is the 12th richest person in the world with a net worth of $84.5 billion.
