Asia's richest billionaire Gautam Adani has topped the 2022 IIFL Wealth Hurun India Rich List. According to the report of Hurun India, Gautam Adani's wealth has increased tremendously in the last year. According to the report, Adani's assets have grown by 116 percent in the last year, and in total, they have added Rs 5,88,500 crore. Daily, Adani has earned Rs 1,612 crore. The total assets of Gautam Adani have been estimated at Rs 10,94,400 crore in the report. Let us tell you that Gautam Adani is currently the second richest billionaire in the world. Tesla's Elon Musk is ahead of Adani.

What the report said: Anas Rehman Junaid, MD, Hurun India, said that over the past five years, the Adani Group has focused on acquisitions and organic growth. Because of this, assets have increased by an astonishing 1,440 percent. 7 companies of the group are listed on the stock exchange.

The growth of these companies has been increasing continuously in the last few years. The report says that the year 2022 will be remembered for Adani's immense wealth growth. He is the only Indian to have created seven companies with a market cap of one lakh crore.

Ambani lost the ranking: Adani's wealth is more than Rs 3 lakh crore compared to Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani or other billionaires. It is also important that in 2012, Adani's wealth was barely one-sixth of Ambani's wealth. According to the report, Mukesh Ambani's wealth has increased by 11 percent in the last year. However, he has lost his top ranking on this list for the first time in 10 years. Mukesh Ambani's wealth has been estimated at Rs 7.94 lakh crore in the report. If we look at the last 5 years, then Mukesh Ambani's wealth has increased by 115 percent.

The wealth of Cyrus S Poonawalla and his family of the vaccine maker Serum Institute has increased by 25 percent. He ranks third on the list of the rich. Poonawalla's assets are estimated to be Rs 2,05,400 crore.
