The report said that the rank could not be determined for 15 countries including Guinea, Mozambique, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Burundi, Somalia, South Sudan, and Syria.

The opposition attacked the government

Congress leader P Chidambaram said India's score has deteriorated since 2014 in the eight years of the Modi government. In a tweet, Chidambaram said, Hindutva, Hindi imposition, and spreading hatred are not medicine for hunger. Apart from this, Karti Chidambaram tweeted, the BJP government will reject these figures and raid the organization doing the study.
