The Ministry of External Affairs said on Friday that the process of returning to China for Indian students to complete their studies has started and the students have been asked to keep in touch with their universities. Thousands of Indian students have been unable to return to China for more than two years due to restrictions related to COVID-19.

 

India has been consistently emphasizing to China that the return of all these students should be completed so that they can complete their studies. Foreign Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi told reporters that they (the Chinese side) are saying that the process of granting visas for the return of Indian students to China has started. He said that the government has been told that Indian students have been advised to contact their universities and gradually the process of withdrawal will start and this process is going on. He said, "Our embassy in Beijing is continuously putting pressure on the Chinese side so that they can complete the process of early return of Indian students to China." Keep in touch and be ready for China's return and visa process." And this process has started for the return of Indian students.” When asked about the number of visas for Indian students, he said that the subject of visas is the issue of the Chinese government and only they will know how many people get visas. found.
