Now with the increasing number of cases again, many more families have left the village with their homes locked. Shopkeepers have imposed an undeclared lockdown and people are coming out of their homes only when necessary.

According to the villagers, 130 deaths occurred here within 60 days. Due to this orgy of deaths, people were so scared that many families left the village itself. At that time the commissioner had to camp here with the entire administrative staff and the team of the health department. Yet the panic is such that many people who went at that time have not returned even today. Today the situation is that 40 to 50 houses of the village are locked.
