The tanker is also not equipped with a GPS locator so that it will not be able to track. On the complaint of the drug controller, the Panipat police have registered a case and a team is being formed to search for an oxygen tanker.
Medical grade oxygen-filled tankers were dispatched from Panipat refinery to hospitals in Delhi and Sirsa on Wednesday morning. The tanker sent to Sirsa disappeared on the way. Investigation revealed that the driver's mobile phone switched off shortly after leaving the refinery and could not be contacted. It is feared that the tanker has gone missing in Panipat itself and the incident has been carried out with complete planning. Drug Controller Vijay Raje said that a case has been registered by giving a complaint to the police. DSP Satish Vats says that the police team is engaged in searching the tanker.
