In Prithviraj, Akshay Kumar is playing the titular role, while Miss World-born Manushi Chillar will make her Bollywood debut with the character Sanyogita. Dr. Dwivedi told the story of the film- The story is mainly based on the epic of medieval history Prithviraj Raso, which was composed by the great poet Chandbardai of that era. Dr. Dwivedi, who has a special interest in history-related subjects, has done deep research to know and understand the great warrior of history. He said that researching about such warriors of history is an experience like communicating with the warriors of that period.
Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi, who is remembered on the small screen for popular and classical serials like Chanakya, is known for putting on screen with credibility. Films like Pinjar and Mohalla Assi are examples of his society and cinematic understanding. Dr. Dwivedi said that apart from Prithviraj Raso, other literary works have also written about Prithviraj Chauhan. During the research of historical subjects, it is also interesting to study art, archeology, costumes, culture, and data along with the story. The experience of seeing them from the point of view of the camera is different.
Dr. Dwivedi believes that the story of warriors like Prithviraj is very relevant today. Such characters are not just made to woo the youth, but they are chosen because they are relevant. Prithviraj is being produced by Yash Raj Films. The fight between Prithviraj and the cruel invader Muhammad Gauri will be a special part of the story in the film. Sonu Sood and Sanjay Dutt will also be seen in important roles in the film. Let us tell you, Dr. Dwivedi is also associated with Akshay Kumar's film Ram Setu as an executive producer.
