At the same time, the Meteorological Department issued a warning saying that there is a possibility of cold days in most of the cities of the state for the next two days. That means extremely cold will be recorded.
In cold day conditions, the minimum temperature drops to less than ten degrees and the maximum temperature drops to four to six degrees below normal. Cold day conditions persisted in Ambala, Rohtak, and Karnal of Haryana on Thursday also. The maximum temperature dropped by 10 degrees. As compared to Wednesday, the maximum temperature in Ambala on Thursday dropped by 8.3 degrees, Karnal by 10.4, Panipat by 5.6, and Yamunanagar by 9.7 degrees.
