Atiq Ahmed Case in Supreme Court: The Supreme Court will hear the murder case of Mafia Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf on April 24. Along with this, the top court will also hear the demand for investigation of 183 encounters in UP since 2017.

 

In the petition filed in the Supreme Court, a demand has been made to form a committee under the supervision of a former judge of the apex court. This petition has been filed by a lawyer named Vishal Tiwari.

 

Along with this, former IPS officer Amitabh Thakur has also approached the Supreme Court seeking a CBI probe into the murder. He has demanded the court to get the CBI probe into the murder. He says that it is very important to conduct a CBI inquiry to get to the bottom of the matter.
