In the first eliminator of IPL 2022, Rajat Patidar from Indore batted with fire against the legendary bowlers of Lucknow. He scored 112 not out off just 54 balls. In the first eliminator of IPL 2022 between Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers Bangalore, the coin fell in favor of Lucknow.

Lucknow Super Giants team captain KL Rahul won the toss and decided to bowl first. Batsmen like Faf du Plessis and Virat Kohli flopped. In such a situation, Rajat took over the responsibility of the entire innings.

Patidar entered the field on a critical occasion and crossed the 200 mark to Bengaluru

After the early fall of captain Faf, Rajat stepped into the field as the first down batsman. First, he handled the innings with Virat Kohli and then shot openly and completed his fifty in 28 balls with the help of 7 fours and 2 sixes. During this, both took the score to 70 runs, but then Virat got out trying to speed up the run.

Fans felt that from here the team's problems could increase. In such a situation, Rajat Patidar created an atmosphere of celebration in the Bangalore camp with a bang.

Rajat played such a memorable inning for the team in the playoffs, which will always be remembered. Coming in difficult times, took over the team and scored a bang century. This batsman completed his century with the help of 11 fours and 6 sixes in 49 balls. Remaining unbeaten till the end, Rajat took the team to a big score.

Patidar breaks down against Krunal Pandya

Krunal bowled economically in his first over of the power play. As a result, captain KL Rahul remembered him in the last over of the power play as well. Krunal conceded 20 runs in the last over of the power play. On the first ball of the over, Kohli took a single and gave the strike to Patidar, this over became a nightmare for Pandya.

Patidar hit two consecutive fours on the second and third balls of the over. After that a long six on the fourth ball and a four on the fifth ball. Taking a single off the last ball, Patidar kept the strike with him.

Rajat's power was also shown in front of Ravi Bishnoi

In the 16th over of the Patidar innings, Ravi Bishnoi wreaked havoc. Patidar scored 26 runs in Bishnoi's fourth over. On the first ball of the 16th over, Dinesh Karthik struck a dangerous-looking Rajat and Ravi Bishnoi would not want to remember what happened after that.

Patidar scored 26 runs in the next five balls of the over with the help of three sixes and two fours. However, Ravi remained unlucky during this period and Deepak Hooda dropped a silver catch at deep midwicket on the third ball of the over. The ball goes for a boundary.

Father said century was not expected

Rajat made his first century in the IPL to take Royal Challengers Bangalore to the qualifiers. After Rajat's century, his father said, we expected him to play well, but the century was not expected. This is his hard work.

Bengaluru is one step away from the final

Royal Challengers Bangalore team is one step away from reaching the final of IPL 2022. The team won the Eliminator match played against Lucknow by 14 runs. Captain KL Rahul's innings of 79 also did not help LSG win.

LSG is out of IPL with this defeat. The hero of the match was Rajat Patidar. He scored 112* in 54 balls. Harshal Patel bowled brilliantly for Bangalore and took one wicket for 25 runs in 4 overs.

Now RCB will take on Rajasthan Royals in the second qualifier on May 27.
