Heavy Rain Alert: Advisory issued to companies in Gurugram, District Magistrate appeals to employees to work from home

Normal life has been affected due to heavy rains in Delhi NCR on Monday morning. The roads were waterlogged due to rain. Due to this people are facing a lot of trouble in the movement. Meanwhile, to avoid inconvenience to the people, the Gurugram Traffic Police is engaged in decongesting the roads. Along with this, the traffic police have appealed to the people that if they can work from home, then do not come to the office.

 

Gurugram Traffic Police tweeted, 'We do not have this option, but those who can, they should consider using the option of work from home. Although Gurgaon Police is on the streets to assist you.

 

Roads have been submerged due to rain, causing long traffic jams. The water-logging situation is being witnessed in Gurugram's Bakhtawar Chowk, MDI Chowk, the area near DLF Phase 1 Metro, Kanhai Chowk, Agrasain Chowk, and many more. At the same time, because of the warning of heavy rains, the District Magistrate of Gurugram has also advised people to work from home for 23 May. The District Magistrate has issued an advisory asking private institutions to order their employees to work from home. To avoid traffic jams on the roads.

 

Traffic DCP Ravinder Kumar Tomar told PTI that at least 2,500 policemen have been deployed at key points for traffic management. Let us inform you that the Meteorological Department has predicted rain with strong winds from May 21 to 24.
