Imran Khan is taking out this march to demand elections in the country. Imran Khan will join this march after the Friday prayers.

PTI has asked march participants to arrange gas masks, sheets, blankets, towels, three pairs of clothes, small-sized tents, sling-shots, marbles, and batons for the dharna in Islamabad. ,

Tear gas and paper gun to stop Imran

A large number of security forces have been deployed here to prepare to stop the march reaching Islamabad. More than 13,000 soldiers armed with tear gas and paper guns have been deployed across the capital to deter protesters during the march and deal with the deteriorating situation.

Azadi March had to be withdrawn after violence earlier

This is not the first time that former Pakistan PM Imran Khan is taking out the Azadi March. Before this, he had taken out an independence march in May 2022. But it turned violent on reaching Islamabad. There was a clash between Imran supporters and the police and the metro station was set on fire. After which the independence march was called off.

The mob surrounded Imran Khan in Lahore, raised slogans of 'Ghadi Chor'

Imran Khan was surrounded by a mob during an event in Lahore, Pakistan. The crowd raised slogans of 'watch thief'. During this, Imran did not give any kind of reaction, but he looked quite uncomfortable. In fact, on October 21, the Election Commission of Pakistan disqualified Imran for 5 years in the Toshkhana case. His Parliament membership was also canceled.

After this decision, Imran will not be able to contest elections for the next 5 years. Imran was accused that he bought the gifts deposited in Toshakhana cheaply and selling them at high prices.

The incident happened near a mosque in Lahore

Imran Khan is about to take out an anti-government march in Islamabad. In any case, I want to make this march a success. For this, he was on the Lahore tour. When Imran reached Lahore's Masjid Ek Nabvi with his supporters, he was surrounded by a crowd and a group of lawyers. The crowd raised slogans of 'Ghadi Chor' against him. During this, Imran himself was seen removing the crowd. The incident is said to have happened on Thursday evening. Its video is becoming fiercely viral on social media.

accused of selling foreign gifts

A 4-member bench headed by the Chief Election Commissioner of Pakistan, Sikandar Sultan Raza, pronounced this verdict against Imran. When Imran was the Prime Minister, opposition MPs complained against him to the Election Commission. Imran was accused that he bought the gifts deposited in Toshakhana cheaply and selling them at high prices.

Know what is Toshakhana case

The ruling Pakistani Democratic Movement had raised the Toshakhana GIFT issue before the Election Commission. It was said that Imran had sold gifts received from different countries during his tenure. Imran had told the Election Commission that he had bought all these gifts from Toshakhana for Rs 2.15 crore. By selling them, he got about 5.8 crores.

Imran violated this rule

According to Pakistan's famous journalist Aaliya Shah, the information about the gifts received by the Prime Minister, President or those in other positions in Pakistan has to be given to the National Archive. They have to be deposited in Toshakhana. If the gift is worth 10 thousand Pakistani rupees, then the person concerned can keep it without paying any money.

If it is more than 10 thousand then the gift can be kept with you by paying 20% price. If the gift is more than 4 lakhs, then only Wazir-e-Azam (Prime Minister) or Sadar-e-Riyasat (President) can buy it. If no one buys, there is an auction.

Imran's party will challenge the decision in the High Court

Fawad Chaudhary, who was a minister in the Imran government, has said that his party PTI will oppose this decision of the Election Commission. And will appeal against it in the High Court. Toshakhana was built in Pakistan in 1974. This is such a department in which the gifts received by the Prime Minister, Bureaucrats, and President from the country and abroad are kept.
