Voting to elect a new president will be held on 18 July and a countdown, if necessary, will be held on 21 July. In the election of the first citizen of the country, the BJP, which is in power at the center, has a strong position, but it will also need to deal with the opposition. The reason for this is that the BJP has 48.9 percent votes and the opposition has 51.1 percent votes.
