How will the BJP juggle 2% votes in the presidential election, these parties will be expected; guesses on faces

President Election News: The Election Commission has announced the date for the Presidential election. Voting to elect a new president will be held on 18 July and a countdown, if necessary, will be held on 21 July. It is clear that by July 21, the name of the new President of the country will be announced. The term of current President Ram Nath Kovind ends on July 24. In the election of the first citizen of the country, the BJP, which is in power at the center, has a strong position, but it will also need to deal with the opposition. The reason for this is that the BJP has 48.9 percent votes and the opposition has 51.1 percent votes.

In such a situation, the BJP will have to break into the opposition camp and weaken the solidarity to bridge the 2.2 percent gap. It is believed that the BJP can take help from the ruling party of Odisha, BJD, and the YSR Congress, which is running the government of Andhra Pradesh. Apart from this, KCR's party can also seek support from TRS. However, the way he has started a nationwide campaign against the BJP, it does not seem that he will support the NDA candidate. In such a situation, even though the BJP is in a strong position in the presidential election, the math of two percent votes can give it a headache.

Power eviction of these 5 states gave tension to BJP

Ramnath Kovind, who was an NDA candidate in the 2017 presidential election, got close to 65 percent of the votes. But since then the situation has worsened. Then the BJP government was also in Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, and Jharkhand, but now such a situation is not there. It was also defeated in Madhya Pradesh and Karnataka, but later manipulations helped it to form the government. In such a situation, now the BJP will have to make some effort to garner support. However, its cut can be removed from the party by bringing up such a face, which becomes difficult for the opposition to oppose.

BJP can bet on tribal or Muslim face, speculation on Naqvi too

There are speculations that a tribal woman or a Muslim candidate may be fielded by the BJP. The names of Chhattisgarh Governor Anusuiya Uikey and former Jharkhand Governor Draupadi Murmu are running for tribal women candidates. Uikey hails from Madhya Pradesh, and Murmu hails from Mayurbhanj, a tribal district in Odisha. Apart from this, one name is increasingly being speculated, that of Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi. BJP has not fielded Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi in the Rajya Sabha elections. After this, there was talk of fielding him in the Lok Sabha by-election of Rampur, but that too was not done. In such a situation, there is a discussion now that the party can make him the President or the Vice President.
