Himachal Pradesh University (HPU) Shimla has declared the B.Com Final Year Exam Result. In the results declared late in the evening, the students of district Kangra dominated the merit. Only girls are included in the list of the top 13, not a single student has been able to make it to the list. In this declared result of B.Com, Ankita, a student of DAV College Kangra has topped. Inshita Anand of DAV College Kangra stood second while Ruchi Bhatia, a student of Degree College Dhaliyara, Kangra district stood third.
In the merit list, Charu Dhiman of DAV College Kangra stood fourth, Diksha Thakur of Degree College Chintpurni stood fifth, and Riha Jaswal of Degree College Dhaliyara stood sixth. Shivani Bhardwaj student of Dhaliara College got the seventh position, Tamanna student of Saraswati Nagar of district Shimla got the eighth position, Lata Kumari of BBN College Chakmoh in Hamirpur district got ninth and Lalita of Baldwada of district Mandi got the tenth position. Apart from this, Alisha, a student of Rampur Bushahr Degree College, Shimla, has secured 11th position, Aashna Rana of BBN College, Chakmoh, district Hamirpur has secured 12th position and Isha Thakur of DAV College Kangra has secured 13th position in the merit.
In the declared results, all the girls who have been ranked in the top 13, not a single student could make it to the merit list. The Controller of Examinations of the University Dr. JS Negi has confirmed the declaration of B.Com Final Year Exam Result. He said that the result has been uploaded on the website of the university. Students can check their results using their login id and download the mark sheet.
Exam result declaration begins
Himachal Pradesh University's graduation final year examination results started on Thursday from B.Com final year, now the students of B.Sc and BA and other UG courses are hopeful that their results will also be declared soon. After the results of the PG course entrance examinations, the process of counseling stuck due to the non-availability of UG results will also start moving forward slowly.
HPU declared PG degree course results
Along with the B.Com final year result of the UG degree course, the university has also started to declare the pending exam results of the PG degree and diploma course. On Thursday, the university declared the results of PGDCA first and second semester, first and second semesters of MA, MSc maths, first and third semesters of Geology and Geography besides M.Tech first semester results, it will be uploaded on the website soon.
1,015 students gave B.Tech entrance exam at five centers
The entrance examination of the University Institute of Technology (UIT), an engineering institute of Himachal Pradesh University, was conducted on Thursday. 1,015 students took this exam in five examination centers set up across the state. UIT Director Prof. PL Sharma said that the examination was fixed from ten to one in the morning. No complaint of any kind has been received from anywhere. He said that the result will be declared within a week.
He said that examination centers were set up at five places including HPU for the examination. Of these, 279 out of 335 took the test in the center built on the HPU campus, 359 out of 428 in Hamirpur, 89 out of 121 in Mandi, and 208 out of 262 in Dharamsala. There was also a good number of examinees in the examination center specially set up at Degree College Nalagarh for the students of outside states. Here 80 out of 110 students took this exam.
