Imran Khan: Pakistan PM Imran Khan's farewell is fixed! MQM withdraws support, joins hands with the opposition

The clouds of crisis have deepened over the Imran Khan government in Pakistan. The ruling party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has suffered a major setback. PTI's ally Muttahida Quami Movement Pakistan (MQMP) withdrew its support for the government even before the vote on the no-confidence motion. The MQM has decided to go with the opposition Pakistan People's Party (PPP). After MQM withdraws support from PTI, it is believed that the government of PM Imran Khan is going to go.

 

PPP President Bilawal Bhutto has made a tweet after MQM withdrew support from PTI. Bhutto tweeted, “Agreement has been reached between United Opposition and MQM. The Raabta committee will ratify the MQM and PPP CEC agreements. After that, we will brief the media about it at a press conference tomorrow. Congratulations Pakistan.

PTI government lost the majority

 

The PTI government has lost the majority in the lower house after the MQM withdrew support. Now the number of pro-PTI MPs in the house has come down to 164. While the United Opposition has 177 members. The total number of members in the National Assembly of Pakistan is 342. The majority requires the support of 172 MPs. The debate on the opposition's no-confidence motion will start on March 31 and voting will take place on April 3.

Meanwhile, Imran Khan has alleged that some people are trying to topple his government with the help of foreign funds. Imran Khan said in a rally, 'Efforts are being made to change the government in Pakistan through foreign money. Our people are being used. Some people are using foreign money against us. We know from where attempts are being made to pressurize us. We have been threatened in writing, but we will not compromise on national interest.
