The Indian Embassy on Wednesday issued a new advisory asking Indians living in Kharkiv, Ukraine's second-largest city, to leave the city immediately. While issuing an urgent advisory to all Indian citizens in Kharkiv, it has been said that for their safety and well-being, they will have to leave Kharkiv immediately.

It states that all Indians leave for the cities of PESOCHIN, BBAAYE, and BEZLYUDOVKA. According to the advisory, under any circumstances, they must reach these settlements by 18:00 today (Ukrainian time).

India has issued this advisory a day after an Indian student was killed in a Russian attack. The advisory was issued amid reports of more explosions during a massive attack by Russian forces in Ukraine's second-largest city. Ukrainian officials said central parts of Kharkiv were under "heavy shelling and bombardment" and several administrative buildings had collapsed after being hit by missiles.

Let us tell you that the Russian attack on Kharkiv is intensifying. A video of the attack on the regional police and intelligence headquarters is circulating online, showing a building's roof blown off and its upper floor set on fire.

Kharkiv residents are in panic due to this attack. The wreckage of the damaged five-story building was seen scattered in the adjoining streets. The Ukrainian government's strategic communications center released photos of the attack in Kharkiv on Wednesday.

According to official estimates, around 4,000 Indians are stranded in Kharkiv, Sumy, and other cities in eastern Ukraine due to fierce fighting and shelling by Russian forces. A final-year medical student from India, Naveen Shekharappa Gyangoudar, was killed in an attack by Russian forces in Kharkiv on Tuesday. They were standing outside a shelter to buy food.
