INC: 'Why is the government not responding to China's intrusion', Sonia Gandhi questions the government, Congress protests

Congress leader Sonia Gandhi has expressed concern over the confrontation between the Indian and Chinese armies in Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh. After the party's parliamentary party meeting, leaders of the Congress and other opposition parties demonstrated in front of the statue of the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi in the Parliament complex.

The leaders of the opposition demanded from the government that the confrontation with China should be discussed in the Parliament. Sonia Gandhi said that the government is adamant about not holding a discussion, while the public and the House want to know the actual status of the border.
