IND vs BAN T20 World Cup: Rishabh Pant's entry confirmed against Bangladesh? Dinesh Karthik's leaf may be cut because of this

In the ICC T20 World Cup 2022, a match was played between India and South Africa on Sunday (30 October). During the South African innings, Dinesh Karthik was seen suffering from back pain at the time of wicketkeeping, after which he had to leave the field and was replaced by Rishabh Pant. Now India has to play their next match against Bangladesh in Adelaide on November 2, where Dinesh Karthik's playing is currently looking very difficult. Bhuvneshwar Kumar also gave an update on Dinesh Karthik's injury after the loss against South Africa.

In the post-match press conference, Bhuvi said, 'He (Dinesh Karthik) had some problem with the back and I have not met him after the match. When we return to the hotel, I will talk to him and then we will wait for the report from the physio. There is no update from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) yet regarding Dinesh Karthik's injury.

On the other hand, Rishabh Pant seems to be getting a place in the playing XI. Currently, there are only two left-handed batsmen in Team India, one Pant and the other Axar Patel. In such a situation, with the arrival of Pant, the team can get a better balance. On the other hand, Dinesh Karthik has not done anything special with the bat in this T20 World Cup so far. Now after the injury, it seems certain that he is out of the team.
