On the second day of the G20 Summit, Prime Minister Modi met French President Emmanuel Macron. During this both, the leaders shook hands and hugged each other. Bilateral talks are taking place between the two leaders. During this, talks are also likely to be held on Free Trade Agreement.

Before this, all the leaders involved in the G20, including PM Modi, reached the Mangrove Forest of Bali. During this, the G20 leaders planted trees to help fight climate change in the mangrove forest. Climate change has emerged as a very serious issue in recent times. In 2022, people in England and across Europe were suffering from the heat. Heavy rains caused floods in Pakistan. The first heatwave in India caused damage to crops. In America too, due to the scorching heat, there was a fire in the forests, on the other hand, there were floods due to rain. It is believed that climate change is behind all this.

Mangrove forest visit of G20 leaders is important

Recently India announced joining the Global Mangrove Alliance. This alliance has been made by Indonesia and UAE. Mangroves are coastal forests that reduce the effects of cyclones and storms. Apart from this, they absorb more carbon emissions. Keeping all these things in mind, the G20 leaders have planted saplings here.

Modi will meet British PM Sunak

PM Modi will hold a meeting with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak after the Mangrove Forest visit. The British PM will talk to Sunak about the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between the two countries. In this meeting, a big decision can be taken on the roadmap 2030 fixed for bilateral relations.

Indonesia will hand over the G20 chairmanship to India

India will host the leaders' summit of the G-20 grouping in New Delhi from 1 December. It will be inaugurated in Udaipur in December 2022. Three cities in Rajasthan will host this group this time. There will be conferences in Jaipur along with Udaipur and Jodhpur.

Prime Minister Modi addressed the people of the Indian community living in Indonesia. Here he said – every Indian has a different feeling after coming to Indonesia and Bali. I am also feeling the same vibrations. We have thousands of years old relationships. We have been following this tradition for thousands of years.

Modi met Jinping

On the first day of the summit, Indonesian President Joko Widodo hosted a dinner for all the leaders. During this Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping came face to face. Both shook hands and talked for some time. Earlier, during the SCO meeting held in Samarkand, Uzbekistan in September, both the leaders were present on the same stage, but then both of them did not even see eye to eye.

US President Joe Biden personally reached out to meet Modi

US President Joe Biden himself came to meet Modi. Modi could not see Biden. He was going to the other side. Meanwhile, Biden called him, and then both were seen laughing. A few minutes later, the Prime Minister called French President Emmanuel Macron and spoke to him as well.

Biden and Jinping's meeting was also important

An important meeting took place between US President Joe Biden and Chinese President Xi Jinping. According to the 'New York Times, before the meeting, Biden shook hands with the Chinese President and said - very glad to see you. After this both the leaders went to the meeting room. Later, in response to a question, Biden said - I do not think China is going to attack Taiwan right now. We are watching every action.
