IND vs ENG: After Rohit, Dravid also expressed confidence in Kohli, saying- 'A big innings is yet to come from his bat'

During this time Mahendra Singh Dhoni was the captain of Team India.

 

After this victory, Team India's head coach Rahul Dravid discussed Virat Kohli's form. He said that the star batsman is trying but he is not able to succeed in his plans. Virat's bat remained silent in this match and played against England as well. He faced nine balls and scored only nine runs. Reece Topley bowled him on the fourth ball of the third over. Kohli hit a six during this innings.

Dravid discussed Kohli's form

After the match, Team India's head coach Rahul Dravid talked about King Kohli's form. He said, "When you play risky cricket, many times you are not able to succeed in your plans. According to me, even in today's match, he hit a great six to maintain the momentum, but unfortunately, that ball got a little more seam (on which he got out). However, I liked his intention and method. If he is ready to do this, then it is a good sign for the team." Kohli's form is a matter of concern Virat Kohli's form remains a matter of concern in the current tournament. He was out on zero in the recent match played against Australia. This was the second time Kohli returned to the pavilion without opening the account. Earlier in the match against America, Saurabh Netravalkar had dismissed him on zero.
