IND Vs ENG: Turns have been seen on the pitch since the first day in the second Test being played between India and England at Chepak ground in Chennai. Experts have also raised questions about the pitch being slow. Experts are asking how can a five-day Test match be played on such a pitch. Team India's star bowler R Ashwin, however, defended the pitch. Ashwin believes that a benchmark needs to be set for batting on this pitch.

R Ashwin has taken five wickets in England's first innings. Ashwin says that he has no information about the complaints of England players regarding the pitch. Ashwin said, "If they have any complaint about it, then I am not aware of it. When players face such situations, such things are natural. To be honest, I have played seven days on this pitch and England Has given us a tough fight. "

A helpful pitch for spinners was defended

Ashwin has described playing on the pitch as helpful for fast bowlers. The star spinner said, "Whether you play on spin-friendly or fast bowler-friendly pitches, it will be more challenging from time to time. If the ball comes at a speed of 140-50 kmph then it is more challenging to play it. Take it and face it. "

The Indian off-spinner said that batsmen are more likely to score runs on spin-assisted pitches. Ashwin believes that batsmen need to show patience on a helpful pitch for spin.
