India defeated South Africa by 11 runs in the third T20 match and took a 2-1 lead in the four-match series. In the match played in Centurion, fast bowler Arshdeep Singh brought India back by taking the wicket of Marco Jansen in the last over. Let us tell you that in this match, the hosts won the toss and invited India to bat first. Thanks to Tilak Verma's 107* and Abhishek Sharma's 50-run innings, India scored 219 runs for six wickets in 20 overs. In response, South Africa could only score 208 runs for seven wickets in 20 overs. After this victory, Team India will now look at the fourth and final match. This match will be played in Johannesburg on Friday, November 15.

The Indian team has become the first team to score 200+ the most number of times in the shortest format of the game in a calendar year. It surpassed Birmingham Bears and Japan in this matter. Birmingham Bears have scored more than 200 in 2022, while Japan has scored more than 200 seven times in T20 this year. India had scored more than 200 a total of seven times in T20 last year.

 

Arshdeep became India's second most successful bowler in T20.

 

Fast bowler Arshdeep Singh bowled brilliantly and gave India a big success by dismissing Heinrich Klaasen, who was in form. Klaasen was dismissed after scoring 41 runs off 22 balls with the help of one four and four sixes. With this, Arshdeep has become India's second most successful bowler in T20 Internationals. Arshdeep has 92 wickets to his name and has left behind Jasprit Bumrah and Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

While chasing the target, Rickelton was bowled by Arshdeep after scoring 20 runs. Hendricks (21) hit three fours off Axar in the fifth over, but in the next over he was stumped by Varun at the hands of Sanju. As soon as Stubbs came, he hit two fours and helped South Africa cross 50. In the powerplay, South Africa scored 55 runs for two wickets. Axar also sent Stubbs (12) away. Markram (29) hit two sixes on Varun but got caught on a bad ball. South Africa had scored 84 runs for 4 wickets in 10 overs. Klaasen scored 23 runs by hitting three sixes on Varun in the 14th over. Surya also dropped his catch in this over. South Africa had to score 86 runs in 5 overs. Klaasen (41) got out in the 18th over. After this Jansen took charge. He hit a half-century in just 16 balls which is the first fifty of his T20 career. Jansen tried his best to make the team win, but Arshdeep dismissed him in the last over and broke South Africa's last hope. For South Africa, Heinrich Klaasen scored 41 runs in 22 balls with the help of one four and four sixes. Klaasen was also made a victim by Arshdeep. For India, Arshdeep took three wickets, while Varun Chakraborty got two and Hardik Pandya and Axar Patel got one wicket each.

 

Tilak's century took the score beyond 200

 

Tilak hit his first century of T20 international career for India, which helped the Indian team cross the 200-run mark. Batting first, India did not have a good start and lost the wicket of Sanju Samson in the opening over itself. Samson was dismissed without opening the account for the second match in a row. However, Abhishek and Tilak then handled the innings and both the batsmen shared a 107-run partnership for the second wicket.

 

Abhishek was dismissed after scoring 50 runs off 25 balls after scoring a half-century. After Abhishek was dismissed, Tilak continued his innings and first scored a half-century and then also managed to score a century. Tilak returned to the pavilion unbeaten after scoring 107 runs off 56 balls with the help of eight fours and seven sixes. For India, captain Suryakumar Yadav contributed one run, Hardik Pandya contributed 18 runs, Rinku Singh contributed eight runs and Ramandeep Singh contributed 15 runs. At the same time, Akshar Patel returned unbeaten after scoring one run. For South Africa, Andile Simlane and Keshav Maharaj took two wickets each, while Marco Jansen got one wicket.
