Indian team's star all-rounder Hardik Pandya has made a strong comeback to the Indian team after almost 7 months. In the first match of the five-match T20 series against South Africa, Hardik scored 31 runs in 12 balls at a strike rate of 258. India's star all-rounder Hardik Pandya has been included in the squad after recovering from injury. He hit 2 fours and three sixes in the match against South Africa.

 

Hardik Pandya was last seen in the Indian jersey in the 2021 T20 World Cup, where he played for the team as a batsman. He also bowled in a few matches during the group stage matches. He has scored 487 runs in 15 matches in IPL 2022 at an average of 44.27. He has also scored 4 fifties in IPL 2022. This has been Hardik's best IPL season with the bat. He also took 8 wickets this season.

 

Hardik Pandya successfully led the new IPL franchise Gujarat Titans to win the title in their debut season. Apart from bowling a few overs at a fast pace, he continued to perform for the team with the bat as well.

 

Rishabh Pant has been appointed as the new captain of the team after KL Rahul's injury, while Hardik Pandya has been made the vice-captain.
