After clearing the West Indies, India has solidified its claim at number three in the ICC ODI rankings. After thrashing the hosts 3-0, India is ranked third in the ODI rankings with 110 points, ahead of New Zealand and England with 128 and 119 ratings respectively. In the absence of regular players like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah, and Rishabh Pant, Shikhar Dhawan led the side and became the first team to clean sweep West Indies at their home.

After this stunning victory, India has taken a 4-point lead over arch-rivals Pakistan. Pakistan is in the fourth position with 106 points. On the other hand, if we talk about West Indies, after losing 9 matches in a row, this team is at 9th position in the ODI rankings.

In ODI cricket, India started this year with a loss. Team India had to face defeat 0-3 against South Africa. After this, Team India, after cleaning the West Indies at home, dusted England 2-1 in England and now the West Indies once again cleaned their soil. After losing to South Africa, India has won 8 out of 9 matches.

On the other hand, apart from New Zealand, England, India, and Pakistan, Australia is present in the top 5 with 101 points. On the other hand, South Africa is in 6th position with the same number of points. Bangladesh and Sri Lanka are ranked 7th and 8th with 98 and 92 points respectively, while Afghanistan is at 10th and last position with 69 points.
