India making three lakh PPE kits throughout the day, hundreds of crores of industry standing in 3 months: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is currently addressing through video conferencing to mark 125 years of CII. Prime Minister Modi said that in the midst of Corona crisis, we have to save the lives of the people of the country as well as stabilize the economy. PM Modi said that due to the Corona crisis, now other countries of the world want more with the rest of the world.

 

Regarding the manufacture of PPE kits being made to deal with the Corona crisis, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that now three lakh PPE kits are being made in the country every day. He said that within three months, an industry worth hundreds of crores has been created.

 

Prime Minister Modi said that India will regain its growth soon. We will get our growth back. PM Modi said that ration has been delivered to the house of 74 crore people in the midst of Corona crisis. During the lockdown, the government has transported more than eight crore gas cylinders to the poor to their homes. Apart from this, EPF has assisted in the accounts of employees of private sectors.

 

PM Modi said that farmers can now sell the crop in any state on their own terms. Now the crop can be sold through electronic trading. This is going to open many new avenues. Similarly, labor reforms are also being done keeping our workers in mind.

 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in the CII program that to bring India back on the path of fast development, five things are very important to build a self-reliant India. These five things are - Intent, Inclusion, Investment, Infrastructure and Innovation.

 

He said that the demand of clarifying the definition of MSME was being made by the industry for a long time, it has been fulfilled. This will enable MSMEs to move forward without any worries and there will be no need to follow other routes to maintain their status.

 

Explain that due to Corona virus, lockdown is in force in the country for the last several days. However, the lockdown has now been restricted to just the containment zone in the fifth phase. The nation's economy has also had a profound impact on the nation's closure.

 

Modi government took important decisions in cabinet meeting

 

Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday held the first cabinet meeting of the second year of the government's second term. In this meeting, several important decisions were taken in relation to improving the standard of living of farmers, micro, small and medium sector (MSME) and people who live with the help of street vendors.

 

The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs has launched a special micro-credit facility scheme, PM Self-Fund, to give loans to street vendors at cheap interest. This scheme will prove to be a milestone to enable them to start working again and earn their livelihood. More than 5 million people, including vendors, hawkers, hand carts, street vendors, thali phalwale, etc., are expected to benefit from this scheme. Urban local bodies will play an important role in the implementation of the scheme.
