The ICC has urged tourism and trade associations to stop promoting the Maldives. Trade body president Subhash Goyal has stated all trade associations.
The ICC Secretary said in his statement, 'India is one of the largest sources of foreign exchange and trade. Please invest in Lakshadweep, Andaman, and Nicobar as it is much better than Maldives. Other places in the Indian Ocean region that can be promoted are Sri Lanka, Bali, Mauritius, and Phuket.'
ICC President's appeal
