According to Germany's Federal Office in Berlin, cooperation in fuel transactions other than oil, coal, and gas will be discussed during Bierbock's first visit to India. In this context, Beerbok will focus on renewable energy projects in rural areas around New Delhi.

The German Foreign Minister will also visit the office of the Election Commission of India. She will also meet representatives of civil society and people from non-governmental organizations regarding women's rights.

During the visit of the German Foreign Minister to India, the two sides will discuss bilateral relations and regional and global issues of common interest. A spokesman for the Ministry of External Affairs said that India and Germany celebrated the 70th anniversary of their diplomatic relations in the year 2021.
