On Friday, there was a terrorist attack on the embassy of Pakistan in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan. The Islamic State has taken responsibility for this attack. Let us tell you that a statement was issued by the organization, in which the responsibility for this attack has been taken. Pakistani Ambassador Ubaidur Rehman Nizamani was targeted by the terrorists in the attack.

Nizamani narrowly escaped the attack but his bodyguards were injured. The attack was carried out with medium-range weapons and snipers. Information about this attack has been given by the State Department.

Diplomats were on a morning walk

Pakistani mission in-charge Ubaidur Rehman Nizamani was targeted by unidentified gunmen while he was walking in the embassy compound but was saved by the security personnel deployed for his protection. Security guard Israr Mohammad is seriously injured and is undergoing treatment.

The State Department reprimanded the Taliban government of Afghanistan for this attack. Pakistan's Foreign Office had said that it was the responsibility of the interim government of Afghanistan to investigate the attack, bring the perpetrators to justice and ensure the safety of Pakistani diplomats and civilians.

Suspected accused arrested

A Kabul police spokesman said a suspect had been arrested and security forces had seized two weapons after clearing a nearby building.

PM Shahbaz condemned the attack

Nijmani took charge of the Embassy of Pakistan on November 4. The attack was strongly condemned by the Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif. The embassy official said the assailant came from behind the house and started firing.

The ambassador told that the staff is completely safe but they are going behind the embassy building for security. Khalid Jardan, a spokesman for Kabul police, said a suspect had been arrested. He was caught when the security personnel ran toward the embassy and started firing.
