India and Russia discussed issues related to the agenda of the United Nations Security Council. The Indian delegation at the meeting was led by Sanjay Verma, Secretary (West) in the Ministry of External Affairs. In this, the Russian delegation was led by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sergei Vasilievich Vershinin. According to the statement, Vershinin congratulated India for India's presidency of the UN Security Council in December 2022.

S Jaishankar meets Syrian Foreign Minister, assures help

India has offered a US$ 280 million line of credit to Syria for the construction of a power plant and a steel plant. Two artificial limb fitment camps (Jaipur Foot) have been organized in Syria in December 2020 and most recently in October-November 2022.
