State Congress leaders today lodged a complaint with the State Election Commission in Bengaluru over the alleged Voter ID scam in Karnataka. In this, the ministers of the state and a private organization have been accused of rigging.

A party delegation led by Karnataka Congress President DK Shivakumar reached the state election office in Bengaluru. He alleged a scam by the ministers regarding the collection of voter IDs. Congress leaders alleged that the ruling BJP government was stealing voters' data. Electoral fraud is being done through a private organization.

He was also accused of misusing voter ID data, fraudulently collecting information, and deleting the names of lakhs of voters. The Congress leaders demanded the resignation of Chief Minister Bommai and an inquiry into the matter by the Chief Justice of the Karnataka High Court.
