Cricket Australia (CA) has allowed its contracted players to take part in the Indian Premier League 2022 (IPL 2022) from 6 April. The board has issued a No Objection Certificate (NOC). Players like David Warner, Pat Cummins, and Glenn Maxwell will not play in the limited-overs series against Pakistan, but Cricket Australia will not allow contracted players to join the IPL immediately. The players will be available for their franchise only after the Pakistan tour is over. CA sources have confirmed this.

Sources told news agency ANI, "Yes, we have given NOC to players to be available for their franchises in IPL from April 6. Players can be available only after the Pakistan tour is over. It is worth noting that Australia will tour Pakistan for three Test matches, three ODIs, and one T20 International for the first time since 1998. The last match will be played on April 5.
