Sunrisers Hyderabad team is back on track after registering two consecutive wins. The team defeated Gujarat Titans by 8 wickets in the match played on Monday. The target of 163 runs in front of the team was achieved by losing 2 wickets in 5 balls. Excited by the win, the Hyderabad team got a setback when it was reported that spin bowler Washington Sundar would not be available for the next two matches due to injury. This information has come from Hyderabad coach Tom Moody.

In the match played on Monday, he did not even complete his quota of overs. This is a big setback for Hyderabad because they have mastered the bowling during the powerplay. Against Gujarat, he bowled 3 overs and conceded only 14 runs. Out of this, he did two overs during the powerplay. Due to his bowling, the Gujarat team could not score many runs during this period.

Commenting on his injury, the coach said, "Washington has an injury between the thumb and the first finger on the right hand. We will monitor it over the next two-three days. Hopefully, it's not a big blow to us. I think it's okay." It will take a week or two to happen"

In his place, Hyderabad has two options in the form of Shreyas Gopal and J Suchit, who can be seen bowling for Hyderabad in the coming matches. The team also has an option in the form of Abdul Samad. While chasing the target against Gujarat, Rahul Tripathi also had to go back after being retired hurt. But his injury is not too serious. When he left the field and went back, he was batting after scoring 17 runs in 11 balls. The coach said about him that he is completely fine. He is a very important player for us.
