Madhya Pradesh: Medical college and furniture will be built on land freed from the possession of land mafia in MP

Medical colleges and furniture will be built in Madhya Pradesh along with housing for the poor on the land that has been freed from the land mafia. In Ujjain, 12.19 acres of land will be given for medical college and 40.36 acres for industrial development. At the same time, 50 acres of land in Indore will be allotted for the furniture . In Jabalpur, 25 acres of land have been proposed to be given for the establishment of Agro park of Self-Help Group. The houses of the poor will be built on one thousand 828 acres of land. This land has been freed from the possession of the land mafia.

 

From January to March 2022, a maximum of 309 acres of land in Sehore has been freed from illegal occupants. Whereas, in Katni, Alirajpur, Sidhi, Dindori, and Shajapur districts, action against the land mafia has been the least.

campaign against the land mafia

 

Shivraj government is running a campaign against land mafia encroaching on government land. From January 1 to March 31, 2022, two thousand 243 acres of land have been made free. This land will be used for building houses for the poor and other activities. Officials of the Chief Minister\'s Office said that it has been decided to allot land for industrial activities along with a medical college in Ujjain. Similarly, 50 acres of land in Indore is being given to the district and industry center for the furniture . 1.60 acres of land has been proposed to be given to the Home Department for setting up a police station in Rau. 98.40 acres of land in Gwalior will be given to the Industries Department. One acre of land in Jabalpur has been reserved for the construction of the Regional Scientific Laboratory under the Police Modernization Scheme. Here, the land will be given to Panchayat and Rural Development Department to build an agro park for self-help groups on 25 acres of land. In Sehore, 25.51 acres of land will be given for Gaushala and 11 acres for CM Rise School. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has directed that the encroachment-free land should be given on a priority basis to promote housing and employment activities for the poor.
