Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated Delhi Capitals by 47 runs in the 62nd match of IPL 2024 on Sunday. RCB kept their playoff hopes alive with this win. In the match played at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, RCB batted first and scored 187/9. In reply, Delhi Capitals collapsed for 140 runs.

After RCB's victory, the reaction of Virat Kohli and his wife Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma went viral. Relief was visible on Anushka Sharma's face after the victory while Kohli looked full of enthusiasm. Kohli pointed towards someone in the field and seemed to indicate - 'I told you.' We can change things.

hit the 'paw' of victory

Royal Challengers Bangalore registered their fifth consecutive win in the current season. RCB now has 12 points from 13 matches and has reached fifth place in the points table. RCB has to play its last league match against defending champions Chennai Super Kings on May 18. RCB will try to win this match at any cost.

Things repeated after 8 years

History seems to be repeating for RCB in the current season. If we examine the history of RCB in IPL, we will know that in 2016, it had last won five consecutive matches. Then RCB team reached the finals and remained runners-up. This time too, RCB has won five consecutive matches, and the doors to reaching the playoffs are not closed. It will be interesting to see whether RCB will be able to qualify for the playoffs or not.
