Speaking to ANI, Ashoke Pandit described Bharat Kapoor as a magnificent actor and a wonderful human being. He remarked that, as an actor, Kapoor had an impeccable memory for his dialogues. His acting prowess was exceptional. “I have worked with him across all three mediums: film, theater, and television.”

“Therefore, this is a significant loss for the film industry. He had also been unwell for quite some time. In front of the camera, he was truly a revelation. He was a quiet man, yet whenever he stepped before the camera, he would have his lines perfectly memorized. He could effortlessly memorize lengthy scripts spanning 8 to 10 pages.”

“Given his quiet and gentle demeanor, one would not expect him to portray negative characters. He had a very gentle face; however, whenever he appeared on stage, in cinema, or on television, he truly worked magic with his acting.”

Bharat Kapoor Had Been Unwell for the Past Two or Three Days

He was at home when he passed away around 3:00 PM. “I received a call from his son around 4:00 or 4:30 PM. He had stopped working quite some time ago.”

The actor’s final rites were performed on Monday evening in the presence of family members and close friends. Bharat Kapoor began his acting career in 1972 and remained active in the profession for nearly four decades. He was renowned for his powerful supporting roles and his portrayals of villains.
