CM Yogi is strict against corruption, 11 IAS officers including Abhishek Prakash have been suspended so far.

The result of the zero tolerance policy of the Yogi government against corruption is that 2006 batch IAS officer Abhishek Prakash was suspended on Thursday. With him, action has been taken against 11 IAS officers so far. The government has suspended these officers. However, many of these officers have also been reinstated after investigation.

 

2014 batch IAS officer Ghanshyam Singh was suspended on November 13 last year in the case of hanging the measurement of the field in Lakhimpur Kheri.

 

Now he has been reinstated.

 

In July 2024, the government suspended 2012 batch IAS officer Devisharan Upadhyay. During his posting as a member of the Judicial Revenue Council in Prayagraj, he was accused of arbitrarily restoring the leases of 35 plots in Aligarh.

 

On March 31, 2022, Sonbhadra DM TK Sheebu was suspended. Now he has also been reinstated.

 

Sunil Kumar Verma was suspended from the post of DM of Auraiya on charges of misuse of power and corruption. He has also been reinstated.

 

2011 batch IAS officer Devendra Kumar Pandey was suspended while DM in Unnao. He was accused of financial irregularities in purchases made in the Basic Education Department. Now he has also been reinstated.

 

2011 batch officer Amarnath Upadhyay was suspended while DM Maharajganj. He was accused of rigging the budget of cow protection centers. Later he was also reinstated. Similarly, Kedarnath Singh was suspended while working in the Tourism Department.

 

Sharda Singh was suspended while working as Consolidation Commissioner. He was accused of not recruiting on OBC quota in recruitment.

 

Jitendra Bahadur Singh was suspended while working as DM Gonda in June 2018. He was accused of government grain scam in the district. He has now retired.

 

Kumar Prashant of 2010 batch was suspended on 7 June 2018 while he was DM Fatehpur. He was accused of rigging in government wheat procurement. He has now been reinstated.
