Indian team's star wicketkeeper batsman and Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant will be seen in a different role in the auction this time. Pant's teammates are part of the auction and many franchises will bet on them, but there will be no bet on Pant. Rishabh Pant himself will be sitting at the auction table for Delhi Capitals and placing bets on the players. He is the youngest Indian cricketer to be seen in this role. Usually, players are seen in this role after retirement.

Rishabh Pant was a victim of a road accident at the end of the year 2022. His speeding car was burnt after hitting the divider and Pant's life was barely saved. He suffered serious injuries in this accident and Pant had to undergo several surgeries after the accident. He suffered a serious leg injury and it took him a long time to recover. However, after the surgery, he has made a rapid recovery and is very close to returning to the field.

Currently, Rishabh Pant is sweating in the gym and preparing himself for wicket-keeping and batting for a long time through difficult exercises. Meanwhile, Delhi Capitals has given him a new role. He will be on the team table during the auction and will be able to buy players as per his needs. Pant himself will bid on the players and will also be seen on the field with the same players while captaining during IPL matches.

Regarding his new role in the auction, he said that since childhood, he wanted that it would be better if he could contribute in some role for some team in the IPL and now he is very happy that this dream has come true. Regarding his return, he said that it was very difficult. Had to face a lot of pain in the beginning, but gradually things became easier and now he is very close to making a strong comeback.
