Islamabad becomes battleground: Independence march ends after the violence, Imran returned after giving 6 days ultimatum to Shahbaz government

Political upheaval has started once again in Pakistan. Meanwhile, Imran Khan has returned after giving a 6-day ultimatum to the Shahbaz government to announce the elections. He said that the government should announce the date of the election in 6 days.

 

Here, late in the night, Imran along with millions of his supporters had reached D-Chowk near Islamabad. Here, clashes also took place between the supporters of PTI and the police. Police used tear gas on Khan's supporters. Islamabad was declared a red zone because of the independence march of former Prime Minister Imran Khan. At the same time, the Ministry of Home Affairs had directed the deployment of the army because of the security.

Maryam said - PTI workers inciting violence

 

The leader of the ruling party, Maryam Nawaz, targeted Imran's independence march. Maryam said that the workers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) are inciting violence at the behest of the former PM. He said that the Supreme Court has given permission to protest peacefully, but it is not being accepted.

 

Parliament's term till August next year

 

Imran's party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is demanding that the 13-party coalition government of Shahbaz Sharif should resign immediately. A caretaker government should be formed and elections should be held at the earliest. By the way, the term of Parliament is till August next year.

On Tuesday, former Pakistan PM Imran Khan accused the US of toppling his government. Targeting the Shahbaz Sharif government, he said that these thieves have captured the country. I hope the Supreme Court and the army will stand by the truth. The army can no longer say that it is neutral. Neutrals are animals. I say again that we have come out to do jihad, politics is a far cry.
