Jyoti had traveled 1200 kilometers by putting her injured father on a bicycle. She cycled 7 days to reach her home. Ivanka has said that what Jyoti did is a beautiful example of tolerance and love for loved ones. This shows the sentiments of the people of India.
Seeing Jyoti's enthusiasm, the Cycling Federation of India has called him for a trial. If the trial is successful, Jyoti will be given training at the National Cycling Academy in Delhi at the expense of the Federation. Jyoti says that I am very happy with this offer, I will go for trial next month.
Jyoti went to father before lockdown
Jyoti's father Mohan Paswan used to ride a rickshaw in Gurgaon. Jyoti went to her father in March. After this there was a lockdown across the country. Meanwhile, his father was injured in the accident. Mohan's business stopped, there was no money, the landlord started threatening to remove him from the house. The father and daughter had become fascinated for even eating. Hence, Jyoti decides to take her father along with her to his house. Jyoti's house is in Sirhulli village of Darbhanga.
Father wanted to stop Jyoti, but did not listen
Public transport is closed in lockdown, so Jyoti borrowed money and bought a bicycle and agreed to return home. Mohan could not cycle himself due to the injury, so he tried to stop the daughter by saying that it would not be easy to pull my weight. But, Jyoti was determined and she did it.
