Jammu and Kashmir: Army kills four terrorists in 24 hours, 5 AK-47s with heavy explosives recovered

The Indian Army on Thursday killed 3 terrorists in the Rampur sector near Uri along the LoC. These terrorists had recently entered the Indian border from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. Government sources said that five AK-47s, 8 pistols, and 70 grenades have been recovered from the terrorists killed in this operation by the army. Complete information is yet to come in this regard.

 

Let us inform you that a terrorist was killed in an encounter with terrorists and security forces in Shopian, Jammu, and Kashmir. The encounter took place on Wednesday night. Kashmir region police tweeted that last night, terrorist Anayt Ashraf Dar had opened fire on a civilian in Jeewar Hameed Bhati, injuring the man seriously and is still hospitalized.

 

He used to threaten the villagers at the cost of weapons.

 

 

Police said that those involved in the drug trade used to threaten his villagers and people outside him based on illegally obtained weapons. Regarding the incident, the police said that based on information received from the sources, a search operation was started in Kashna village by siege. During the search operation, Anayat opened fire. Police said that Anayat was asked to surrender the whole night, but he did not agree. After this, he was killed in the encounter. A pistol and ammunition were also recovered from the spot.
