Jammu, March 18 (IANS) The Jammu and Kashmir legislative assembly on Wednesday unanimously condemned BJP leader Subramanian Swamy's remarks when he reportedly said mosques are not religious places, but just buildings.
As the day's proceedings started, Congress legislator G.M. Saroori demanded unanimous condemnation of the statement.
The house then unanimously condemned the remark, asserting that irresponsible statements concerning religious faith should not be made by anybody.
